Walk in self confidence so that you can start that ministry or business, write that book, ask for a promotion or raise🙂. Women over 50 shoutout!!!

I have often not felt comfortable doing what God calls me to do. ⚠️ I started a church in 2012. For years, I would not put my picture on my website or on any collateral. I was scared but pursuing. I struggled with being a woman in ministry. Y’all, it was such a lonely place. I didn’t want to preach live because I didn’t feel like I was a good preacher. I am delivered from that because my calling is larger than me, and I have to be about my Father’s business.

If you struggle with self confidence, know that He who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it. You just need to show up in your calling. Don’t worry about if you do it as good as you want to, just do it!

Here are some thoughts and actions to consider:

✅ Confidence starts with Godfidence. That means trust in the Lord with all your heart and mind.

I hear you, how do you develop trust in the Lord? Y’all asking good questions!!’

Psalm 17 gave me some wonderful insights.

✅ We have a hard time trusting because our trust is based on a desired outcome. God requires that we trust Him no matter what. When we get comfortable with not being tied to outcome, we can focus on the actions: becoming and doing, all that we are called to complete. You don’t believe me, I got receipts: Daniel 3:8 Shadrach, Meshack, and Abindego, Daniel 6 Daniel in the lions den, Acts 6&7 Stephen. They didn’t worry about the outcome but chose to stand on truth and complete their assignment.

✅ Let God telegraph the plays, this requires time in His presence!!

✅ Use daily affirmations/prayerfirmations to shift your belief. Research shows that when we write, read, and say statements attached to our desires/callings/intentions we are more likely to shift thought and behavior

✅ Inventory your receipts! What have you already done well. What are you good at?

✅ Don’t compare yourself and your accomplishments to others.

✅ Ditch the toxic people who tear you down to keep you at their level😳
